Virgin Bite: Quinoa

Quinoa with Cheese Omelette

My first time trying Quinoa, a grain-like crop grown primarily for its edible seeds. There’s been a lot of hoopla surrounding this pseudo-cereal. It kind of looks like the bastard child of couscous and rice, and the texture is even similar to both. Overall, quinoa wasn’t a bad treat. I think it could definitely be used creatively with certain cuisines, but on it’s own, it’s just average.
